21.8g, 0.375" bandwidth, size 6.25 to include a 1" gap. Ex California collection. The owner is a direct descendant of Henry Fisher (1843-1929). Fisher was an oil tycoon from Oil City, Pennsylvania, and the owner of Fisher Oil Company, the oldest oil company in the United States. After moving to Southern California, Fisher focused his career on energy, with leading positions in companies such as Pittsburgh Petroleum Exchange, Washington Oil Company, and others. He became president of Redlands Electric Light and Power Company, which owned Southern California Edison Company. He was succeeded by his son, John H. Fisher, who maintained leadership positions for various electric and water companies. In 1909, Fisher visited reservations in the Arizona Territory and began collecting Native American art, which remained in the Fisher family for generations.
