Joe, Oreland

Sculptor Oreland Joe was born in Shiprock, New Mexico and was raised in the four-corners area. He is of Dine’ (Navajo) and Ute descent and lived on both the Navajo and Ute reservations. His work is renowned world-wide for both his stone and bronze sculpture, which graces major museum, corporate, and private collections. In 2012, Oreland Joe was featured in the documentary film Oreland C. Joe, Master Sculptor, which was shown at the 15th Annual Masters of the American West Fine Art Exhibition and Sale at the Autry National Center of the American West in Los Angeles.
