Tohono O'odham Basket c. 1930s, 3" x 5.5"

This basket is in very good condition, with slight surface wear. Ex Arizona collection. The owner inherited this piece from her great-aunt, who lived in St. Johns, Arizona, where her father worked as the sheriff and her mother as a cook for the local prison. They collected Native American artwork during that time.
