Susan Kliewer - Grandmother's Gift

"For Grandmother's Gift, I asked my son, Tom, who lives in Page, Arizona, if he knew a grandmother ("Amasani" in Navajo) and granddaughter who would like to model for me.

He knew just the family and arranged it all. They were wonderful models, wearing their finest clothes and jewelry.

In this sculpture, Amasani is handing an old concho belt to her granddaughter. It had been given to her as a wedding gift, and now, she is passing it on - a very special gift indeed." - Susan Kliewer

The sculpture measures 15" tall, including the 2" base.
