This painting includes the original frame, which measures 23.75 by 19.75 inches. It is signed and dated in the lower right. This was acquired from the original family who collected it in the 1930s. On the back is a paper with signatures and states in the lower left "Lewis and Clark National Forest October 31, 1939." Newspaper clippings about Ace Powell also accompany the painting.
