San Ildefonso Polychrome Jar c. 1885, 10" x 10.75" (P90802A-079-121)

This pottery is in fair to good condition. There is surface wear throughout, craquelure, fire clouds, and chipped areas to the sides and upper rim. There is a hairline crack that runs from the upper rim and down the side, which is approximately 5" long. Ex Harmsen Collection, founders of Jolly Rancher Candy. The bulk of the Harmsen Collection resides in the Denver Art Museum, with a dedicated area for important Western art. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona.
