Rueben Sequaptewa - Hopi Banded Rug c. 1940-50s, 58" x 36"

This weaving is in excellent condition. Ex Arizona collection. The owner received this in 2005 as a gift from Lorraine Ewbank, an art collector and family friend, who purchased this weaving from the Museum of Northern Arizona in 1953. Jimmy Kewanwytewa served as the assistant director during that time. In 2018, Mark Bahti appraised it for a value of $3,000.
