Pair of Wood Carved Figurines - (1.) Dee Flagg (1922-1999) - "Annie Oakley" with (Unsigned) Standing Man

Measurements/Descriptions from left to right: (1.) 12" x 5" x 3.5". Good condition. There is slight surface wear and a small repaired crack along the lower end of one of the legs. Includes an old tag with the artist's name on the bottom. (2.) 12.5" x 3" x 3". This figure is unsigned. It is in very good condition, with some slight surface wear. Ex private collection, Arizona. The owner inherited these pieces from her grandfather, James Turpen, brother of Tobe Turpen Sr., who owned the Tobe Turpen Trading Post in Gallup, New Mexico, in the 1920s. James ran a trading post on the South rim of the Grand Canyon during the 1930s and 1940s.
