Navajo Turquoise, Coral and Heishi Necklace c. 1900-20s, 32.5" Long (J10035)

153.7g, 32.5" length, with 5.5" jocla pendants. The word "heishi" means "shell," although today it is often used to describe the cut style of beads that are small, flat, disc-shapes. It is not uncommon to hear the phrase "turquoise heishi," for example. Acquired from a private collection in Canada.
