Maria Martinez (1887-1980) - San Ildefonso Black on Black Jar c. 1920s, 3.75" x 6.25"

This pottery is in very good condition, with slight surface wear and some small scratches. Signed "Marie" on the bottom. A copy of the receipt from Valley of the Sun in San Simeon, California, from July 1, 1976, and an old photograph accompany this piece. Ex Idaho collection. This piece has remained in the owner's family since 1976.
