From first generation Lebanese descent, Kaiser Suidan was raised in a large family, six brothers and one sister, in small USA town. His passion for gardening, working with the earth and organic forms inspired him to explore clay.
His journey began early, in junior high, and continued into high school where he won numerous awards for his ceramic work. He earned a full scholarship from College of Creative Studies in Detroit, and graduated with honors in 1993.
Kaiser’s career started over 20 years ago in his small basement studio. Since then he has grown not only as an artist but as a businessman and entrepreneur. Gallery owner, curator, instructor, and mentor have been added to his growing list of titles.
While his passion for clay continues, the spectrum now includes other mediums as a result of Kaiser representing other artists from around the country as they look for their next step on their journey through the arts.
