Evans, Terry
Kansas-born wood artist Terry Evans creates his exquisite laminated wood art and sculptures using an exacting technique of layering different species of hardwood and hardwood veneers then carving, cutting, shaping, sanding, and reassembling each piece into a unique creation.
Evans’s work has been exhibited at the University of Michigan Art Museum, the Museum of Art and Design, Peabody and Essex Museum, and the Detroit Institute of Art. His work is also part of the noted Montalto Bohlen Collection of fine wood art.
