DETAILS
This pottery is in good condition. There is slight surface wear, and a very minor surface nick to one side, near the face of the avanyu design. Signed "Marie / Julian" on the bottom. Acquired from a private collection in California. The owner inherited this item from her aunt, who was on an archeological excavation in Chaco Canyon, New Mexico in June and July of 1936. Her aunt met Maria and Julian Martinez at that time.
