Hopi Shalako Cradle Doll Kachina c. 1950-60s, 13" x 8.5" x 1.5" (K1634-010)

This kachina has some surface wear and minor paint loss. There is minor cracks along the face, signs of paint restoration and some missing feathers on the head. Acquired from the grandson of Oscar and Ethel Branson The Branson's owned the Treasure House in Old Town, Albuquerque and in Santa Fe, New Mexico. They also authored several Native American and Southwest art books.
