Pair of Lakota Beaded Teepee Bags c. 1890s, 14" x 17" each (DW91077-0418-029)

Additional Information

  • Circa: 1890s
  • Size: 14'' x 17''
Despite being made in pairs, it is often quite difficult to find Lakota teepee bags, as traders usually would sell each bag individually. This is an opportunity to collect a very rare piece of history. 14" x 17" each. The beadwork is in very good condition. The leather is soft and supple. Both bags have a tear at the top edge, a few small holes on the backside, and some rust from the tinklers. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona.
