"My work has been categorized as Contemporary Western. Traditional and well honored western subject matter with a different perspective and expressive interpretation. Using a more graphic approach to composition and design that comes from my illustration background I try to describe the intensity of the west as it was lived in the past and still is today by a select few of weathered souls. Peggy Judy: Contemporary Western Artist - Epi. 214, Host Dr. Mark Sublette

You see, Peggy got her BFA in illustration, but she put it on the side and worked with horses, raised her family, and then after a while she had the classic 'I should be making art' epiphany. She sold her house and went all in and she's done extremely well as a result. Peggy has been doing this now for about eight years and she's currently represented by a slew of galleries.
