This podcast is about a show he had worked on for several years in the Grand Tetons. It was a prestigious plein-air show that he had helped start. Well, the show was canceled suddenly in 2019 and Stephen didn't get closure with this body of work. He wanted to show all these paintings, and enhance some of the ones he really hadn't finished yet. So he spent the time and energy to not only finish the paintings but to write an article about each one and then put it in book form.
