Jill Carver - Sabino Creek (PLV90335B-0322-006)

39.5" x 51.5" framed. This depicts late afternoon looking up Sabino Creek to the canyon beyond. The desert forms are yet to be saturated by the setting sun, but are soft and subtle. I used a limited palette to celebrate the harmonious range of blue-greens, blues, oranges, and a beautiful range of neutral hues. It is spring and the water flows well; a subtle high-tide mark from the mountain run-off is visible along the bank's edge.
