This pot is in good condition. There is a fair amount of surface wear and craquelure, which is to be expected of its age. The wear is most substantial near the rim. There are also slip-pops and fire clouds from the original firing of the pot. Acquired from a private collection out of Pennsylvania. The owner obtained this from the family of a woman who was born in 1857 and worked as a missionary/teacher with the Jemez Indians in New Mexico.
