Additional Information

Acquired from an Arizonan collection. Made from the cocoon of the giant silk moth with pebbles to make it rattle. During dances, dancers wrap these around their lower legs. Mayo villages also use these types of dance rattles. Many different dancers will wear these, such as the Pascolas, Maso (deer dancer) and Chapayekas.
