13.75" x 13.75" framed. ARTIST COMMENTS: A view from an unnamed offshoot of the Romero Pools trail in Catalina State Park. I have been visiting and painting in Tucson for 10 years, and one thing that never fails to impress me is just how green everything gets when there has been enough moisture. It’s as though the desert just comes fully alive. This particular mid-February morning was quite cool, and there had been storms the previous few days. I have seldom seen such abundant, vibrant greens in the Sonoran Desert.
