Pond’s Edge is a figure from Veryl Goodnight’s monumental sculpture, Wolf Pack, which has been installed at both the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago and the Wildlife Experience Museum in Denver.
Note that the bronze portion of the base has been sculpted to represent the forest floor.
There are two other versions of Pond’s Edge available as well, a monumental-size version and a study:
