10" x 16" framed. "It seems sometimes as though, for me at least, all roads from where I live to where I travel on painting or business trips lead through Monument Valley. And as iconic as this area is, I don’t typically tend to stop on my way through. It’s always right around the midpoint of my journey, and I find myself content to admire it through the windows and continue making good time on what are typically very long drives. On this particular day, though, I remember being struck by the variety of colors in the landscape and the way the light fell on the red buttes.
