Lisa Danielle - Ride the Red Gateway
- Medium: Acrylic on Board
- Size: 48'' x 30''
56.5" x 38.5" framed. "This Sam Stagg rigged saddle from Butte Montana, circa 1900, could easily have been used by the riders in Maynard Dixon's 1944 painting, "Red Gateway", the high-backed saddles being favored by dudes, wranglers and packers when riding the rough country of mountains or mesas. The Navajo saddle blanket of the same vintage completes the trio from a past that has stood the test of time." -L.D.
