This is a study of Summer Moon, one of the figures from Veryl Goodnight’s monumental sculpture, Wolf Pack, which is featured at the Wildlife Experience Museum in Denver and the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago.
In addition to the wolf, it features a bronze portion of the base that has been sculpted to represent the forest floor.
There is also a larger version of this sculpture: Summer Moon 17” x 21” x 6.5”.
