Includes an old price tag on verso. 27" x 32.75" framed. Original frame. Original family. Acquired from a private collection in Washington. The owner inherited this painting through his family. His grandfather purchased it directly from the artist in Santa Fe in the 1910-20s. His grandfather was an architect in Santa Fe and worked with Carlos Vierra on some pueblo-related architecture. They collaborated on the design of Vierra's home in Santa Fe in 1918. Includes a copy of The Historic Santa Fe Foundation Bulletin, January 1979, which shows the Vierra house. Published in "Memorial Exhibition: The Works of Carlos Vierra" January 1938. Includes the original brochure.
