This pot is in excellent condition. It is originally from the Dick Howard collection. It is signed on the bottom as "Teresita Naranjo." Teresita Naranjo is a daughter of Christina Naranjo and a sister of Mary Cain. He is renown for her deep carved pottery. She is one of the first potters to carve outside the linear band designs. Some of her exhibitions include the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology in Albuquerque in 1974, Popovi Da Studio of Indian Arts in Santa Fe in 1976, Albuquerque Museum in 1979, New York Gallery show with Margaret Tafoya and others in 1985, and at The Harris Collection in Santa Fe in 1998. Her work can be found in the collections of the Heard Museum in Phoenix, Arizona. Acquired out of a private collection in Arizona. The owner has authorized us to lower the price from $725 to $465.
