“I have a passion for stars - they are almost always incorporate into my work,” says Victoria Roberts. “Lucky 13 is about glorifying the beautiful star.”
This assemblage sculpture features a six-pointed star formed from 13 vintage stars.
The sculpture's base is an antique (1940s) Chinese checkers board; the stars on top of the board are found objects Roberts has collected throughout the years. One star is a piece from a stove, another is an enamel watch cover with pearls, yet another is a vintage Jello mold.
