Reycita Naranjo (1926-2003) Biography

Reycita Naranjo was born in 1926; she was the daughter of noted potter Pablita Chavarria and a sister of Mary Singer, Clara Shije, Florence Browning, Mary Carlisle and Elizabeth Naranjo. She was known for her carved and highly polished pottery. Reycita has won plenty of awards at Santa Fe Indian Market, as well as many more at events in the Southwestern United States. Reycita passed away in 2003.
