Navajo Red Mesa Rug c. 1930s, 58.5" x 43"

This weaving is in very good condition with minor color run, small spots, and very minor edge wear. Ex private collection, Texas. Inherited from his grandmother, who ran 'The Wagon Wheel' trading post, located in Pueblo, Colorado with her husband in the late 1930s to early 1940s. When they left the trading post, they had two trunks full of rugs that stayed with them until she died at the age of 104.
