This textile is in good condition; there is a 1-inch hole, a yellow stain on one side, and minor spotting. The warp count is 6 and the weft count is 22, per inch. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The Meyers family traveled using gas ration tickets in the 1940s, traveling from Wilmington, OH all the way along Route 66. During this journey, they collected antique Indian beadwork and Navajo weavings. Neil Meyers was a a large farm animal veterinarian, so he had lots of gas ration tickets to use for travel.
