Acquired from a private family collection. This rug was purchased at the White Dove Trading Post in Big Bear, California, in the late 1950s. The trading post owner was Mary Rose Stone who was an actress and stunt rider in westerns in the '30s and '40s. This rug is in very good condition. There is some edge wear and the corners are stable. The warp count is 7 and the weft count is 32, per inch.
