This textile is in very good condition; there is fading on one side. The warp count is 10 and the weft count is 32, per inch. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The Meyers family traveled using gas ration tickets in the 1940s, traveling from Wilmington, OH all the way along Route 66. During this journey, they collected antique Indian beadwork and Navajo weavings. Neil Meyers was a a large farm animal veterinarian, so he had lots of gas ration tickets to use for travel.
