This pottery is in near excellent condition; with very faint scratches, a small polishing dimple to one side, and a gunmetal sheen to the right side rear. There have been felt cloths applied to the bottoms of the feet. Signed "DA" on the inside of one foot of the bear. Acquired from a private collection in California. Includes a letter from Popovi Da's daughter affirming this bear had been in the personal museum collection of Popovi Da Studio of Indian Arts.
