Dorothy Trujillo learned Cochiti pottery making from Damacia Cordera, who was well known for her storytellers. This storyteller has six children; one with a ball, and one with a drum attached to the singing mother. Signed "D.Trujillo, Cochiti Pue, N. Mex" on the bottom. This pottery is in very good condition, with some minor surface wear. Acquired from a private collection in Illinois. The owner inherited this piece from her sister.
