I had Navajo artist Shonto Begay on for his second episode of Art Dealer Diaries (see first episode below). I love Shonto because he's not only a wonderful artist that I've collected for a long time in my own home but also because he's a truly mystical individual. Shonto has this innate ability to channel the earth and his heritage into his work, and then infuse his own creative sensibilities, producing these elaborate, colorful scenes and stories.
