This weaving is in good condition. There are no signs of moth grazing, there is a small hole in one corner which is about the size of a dime, and some minor edge wear. There is minor staining and spotting near the corners, as well as some fading on one side. The wool is flexible. The warp count is 8, and the weft count is 24, per inch. The owner had grown up near the Sioux reservation, where her husband's grandfather had been a farmer. The owner had originally purchased this weaving for $1,800. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona.
