- Size: 84'' x 59''
This weaving is in good condition. There is faint spotting, very minor fading to one side, signs of old restoration along the edges, slight corner wear, and a waviness along the selvage. The warp count is 6, and the weft count is 24, per inch. Acquired from a private collection in Florida. The owner inherited this rug from his grandparents, who collected textiles during the early years of the 20th century while living in Kelly, New Mexico. It was an old mining town near Magdalena, which is south of Albuquerque, and is now a ghost town.
