This textile is in good condition, and has some minor wear. There is some wear to the corners. There is 1" area of wear on the selvage. There is an area about 1" x 2" that is thin and has 3 broken warps. On one end, there is an area about the size of a quarter that has 2 broken warps, but the weft is intact. There is one very small hole in the center where there is one broken weft. One side is slightly faded, and there is one small area, about the size of a quarter with pale pink color run. There is no moth damage. The warp count is 4, and the weft count is 12, per inch. Acquired from a private collection in Alaska. The collection was built in the early 1960’s by an archeologist and geologist specializing in wear patterns of early New Mexico Clovis points who trained at Eastern New Mexico University under renowned archeologist Cynthia Williams.
