Maria Martinez (1887-1980) and Popovi Da (1922-1971) - San Ildefonso Black on Black Jar c. 1956-60s, 2.75" x 3.5" (P90760-117-001)

This pottery is in good condition. There is one tiny chip on the rim, about 1/8" x 1/4" in size. There is minor surface wear, and it does show signs of having held water. Signed "Maria and Popovi" on the bottom. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The owner has authorized that the price be lowered from $3,850 to $2,500. This is a wonderful opportunity to acquire a Maria Martinez and Popovi Da pot at a great price.
