350g, 33" length, 3.5" x 3" naja. Acquired from a private collection in Texas. The owner received this item from her aunt, who was born in 1901 in a log cabin in Hird Indian Territory (now Ada, Oklahoma). She had traveled through New Mexico, Colorado, and Arizona during the 1940-50s, collecting turquoise and silver items along the way. Includes a copy of a picture showing the aunt wearing this necklace. Includes a print-out of history on the owner's aunt, who had a Masters in Geology. The aunt and her husband discovered oil in what is now known as Schwab City, Texas. Her aunt was a friend with Taos Society Founder, E. Martin Hennings. Includes a copy of pictures showing E. Martin Hennings painting her aunt.
