13.1g, 4.875" x 1". Acquired from a private collection in California. Old California family collection. The original owner, Mr. Talle (d. 1935), was a former sheriff of McKinley County in Gallup, NM area. He owned two trading posts, Talle Andres Trading Post and Seven Lakes Trading Post. He also leased Fort Union Range, and he also managed the Vermejo Park Range in the northeast corner of NM. This was a guest ranch, whose owner also owned the LA Times.
