The beadwork is in very good to excellent condition with minimal wear or damage. The colors are vibrant, and there are minimal missing beads, and no stains, discoloration, or fading. Unsigned. Joyce Growing Thunder created this parfleche bag with her daughter who made the quillwork. Includes an original photograph of the artist. Rex Arrowsmith purchased this directly from the artist. Joyce Growing Thunder was published in the National Museum of the American Indian, Spring 2007 magazine on page 34. Ex Rex Arrowsmith Estate: a long-time Native American trader and art dealer, who owned a shop in Santa Fe, New Mexico Relics of the Old West, which opened off the Old Santa Fe Trail in 1950. He also participated as a judge at the Santa Fe Indian Market for many years. He also served as president of SWAIA, the Southwestern Association for Indian Arts.
