Pima Basket with Geometric Design c. 1912-14, 6.25" x 13.5" (SK2961)

This basket is in very good condition, with very minor stitch loss, and surface wear to the base. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The previous owner inherited the basket from his family. His grandfather originally owned Las Jarillas Ranch in Arivaca, Arizona, around 1912. Includes a copy of history about his grandfather. Includes a copy of a photograph showing his mother and her nurse with another basket from the collection taken around April of 1914. The basket collection was most likely purchased during 1912-14 when his grandmother was decorating the home.
