Pair of Tlingit Baskets - 1.) Lidded Rattle Top Basket and 2.) Handled Basket Bag with Geometric Design c. 1900s (SK3021)

1.) The lidded rattle top basket measures 4.25" x 6.75". It is in fair condition, with slight surface wear. There is a circular strip of the basket that has become separated from the lid, which now sits balanced beneath the lid. 2.) The basket bag measures 7.5" x 8.5" 2.5". It is in fair to good condition, with some surface wear, loose/missing stitches, and slight breakage to the wood at the base. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The owner inherited these from her grandfather, who was a traveling casket salesman in the Southwest during the early 1900s. Much of his collection was donated to various museums.
