Apache Basket c. 1900-30s, 11” x 11” (SK91646A-0421-003)

This basket is in good condition; with slight breakage some of the stitches near the upper rim, and very minor surface wear. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. This item is from the historic collection of Apache artifacts collected by the Rev. Edgar and Minnie Guenther, who came to the Fort Apache Reservation in 1911 by Army freight wagon. They served the White River community for 50 years.
