48.25" x 52.25" framed. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. Olga Albizu Rosaly studied with painter Esteban Vicente from 1943 to 1947 in Puerto Rico. In 1948, she moved to New York City on a post-graduate fellowship. She later studied in Europe at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. Later, she spent a year painting in Provence. In 1953, she returned to New York City. Olga Albizu is honored in Puerto Rico at Ponce's Park of the Illustrious Ponce Citizens. Her works have been used on various music record covers, including many albums by Stan Getz.
