This pottery is in excellent condition. Signed by the potter on the bottom. Acquired from a private collection in Florida. The owner inherited this item from his family, who had purchased from a handful of galleries in Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico; mainly during the mid-2000's. His parents lived in Albuquerque in the mid-1960's. The wedding vase symbolizes the sanctity of marriage in the ceremony. One spout on the wedding vase represents the husband; the other, the wife. The handle in the middle of a wedding vase represents the unity that a husband and wife will achieve when they come together on their wedding day. The space between the handle and the two spouts is a representation of the couples’ circle in life.
