Navajo Turquoise and Silver Squash Blossom Necklace c. 1940-50s, 26" length (J14903)

153.8g, 26" length, 3" x 2.5" naja. Acquired from a private collection in Arizona. The owner collected this necklace during the late 1990s from a friend who was a member of the University of Arizona faculty. Her friend inherited it from his late wife, who was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1925 where her father practiced as a physician and medical director of the Indian hospital in Santa Fe.
