Tony Da (1940-2008) - San Ildefonso Redware Incised Bear with Inlaid Turquoise, Arrowhead, and Heishi Wrap c. 1970s, 4" x 3.25" x 5" (P3564)

This pottery is in near excellent condition. The black arrowhead had been broken in half and re-glued, and is barely noticeable. The rest of the bear is in excellent condition. Acquired from Frances Hamilton White Collection (1933-2021). Frances Hamilton White was known for her exquisite taste in Native American Art and spent a lifetime carefully curating, adding only the best examples to her collection. Her extensive painting collection was recently sold at Christie's.
